19th century handwoven hemp apron with front pockets
This apron is almost perfect, especially considering its age. Beautifully made from handspun and handwoven hemp, carefully pleated, and with two large front pockets, this is an extremely serviceable piece. The only issue is that the back tie has broken off (the apron is shown here pinned to the remaining parts of the tie). This is a very easy repair job, it just needs some cotton tape and about twenty minutes of your time. There is a small rust stain on one side (pictured), but the rest of the apron is in excellent condition.
