{3I} Exquisite 19th century handwoven linen farmhouse tablecloth

€135.00
Sold

A really beautiful piece of handwoven cloth that was woven to be a tablecloth for a smaller or trestle table. The textile is a warm golden oatmeal colour, shot with darker flecks and stripes, and it has been handstitched at either end. It is thick and textured but at the same time drapes beautifully. There is a small pair of initials in one corner ‘MS’. Ignore the colour of the final two photos, the first couple of photos are far more indicative of the colour. This measures 100cm wide by 220cm long.
