Fine linen apron #2
This is either a server’s or pastry-maker’s apron from the earlier part of the 20th century. It is in fine pure linen, and so was not meant to be worn for dirty or heavy-duty work. It carries both an initial and a number hand-embroidered on one side, which is generally indicative that the piece came from a mansion or very well-to-do household - my guess is that this would have been a butler’s or pastry-maker’s apron, but I cannot be sure! In excellent physical condition, it does have a couple of small rust-like marks (pictured).
