{3H} Large handwoven linen grainsack with extensive repairs
This is a hand-spun and hand-woven pure linen grainsack, very old, and very worn. It has been repaired many times in a number of different ways, woven repairs, stitched repairs, and several varieties of patches, and the effect is really stunning. Please be aware that this is really not suitable for reuse in any way except as an artwork, but it is an artwork, and it is very beautiful. It could easily be opened up and hung on a wall. I feel that this may be German or Eastern French linen. It measures 62×139cm.
